Description
To begin 2023, we'll hear from a special guest, Shelia Harden with GSHA Quality services, a workforce development and staffing services firm. Shelia will lead a discussion on "Building a Talent Pipeline for Builders". Using the US Chamber foundation Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) approach, they partner with employers, community, and training providers to form an employer-led collaborative to build a talent pipeline to address worker shortage gaps in the collaborative industry.
Below is a 1-page summary sheet to further explain what they do. Their collaborative advantage is their ability to focus on the “whole person” in our recruitment and training” programs. GSHA offers outreach services which include career navigation, job mentoring, life counseling, mental health referrals, childcare, and financial wellness programs.
We'll also have open discussion for attendees to discuss any topics you have top-of-mind, and we can review the Council's progress on service projects, Home Tours, and more.
