Qualify High and Sticker-shock Low When Estimating:
Most contractors give “ball-park” estimates that are unrealistically low to keep a prospective customer on the hook, and then blast them with a sky-high quote once the designs are made. Then they pray it’ll still close, sometimes leading them to make concessions that erode margins and then even if the project proceeds, neither the customer or the contractor comes away happy. Joe will demonstrate how to execute a project budget step to get your margins while sticker-shocking them with a lower quote than expected.
