Description

CERV Monitoring of Smart Ventilation & Indoor Air Quality

Presented by Victor Niño, BuildEquinox (Remotely presenting)

The presentation will focus on indoor air quality fundamentals, ventilation strategies (including demand-controlled ventilation), and design considerations for healthy indoor environments, and humidity management. It will also cover energy recovery ventilation concepts and explain the differences between CERV (conditioning energy recovery ventilation) systems and conventional ERV/HRV systems.

The presentation is designed to be educational and free of commercial bias. The goal is to build awareness of heat pump-based ventilation systems and their applications. We will expand understanding of ventilation options, including where CERV systems may be applied, while reinforcing best practices defined by standards for ventilation, humidity control, and energy recovery.
