Description
3 Hour Class - Required information for Builder's License renewal
Michigan Builders Training is excited to offer state approved
courses that meet the requirements for Continuing
Competency. State law now requires you to prove that you have
completed a specific number of Continuing Competency hours
in order to renew your license.
The 3 hour con-ed course satisfies the requirements for
renewing your Michigan Builders License including:
• Building code
• Legal and law issues
• Safety
If you were licensed before 2009 this is the only course you will
need to renew.
If you were licensed in 2009 or after you need more than 3
hours. You will be required to have 21 hours of continuing
competency, 3 hrs of Required Law, Safety, & Codes and then
18 hours of other classes.
